GLIMAKRA IDEAL LOOMS
IDEAL - is a well proportioned smaller loom that is ideal where space is limited. The Ideal is crafted of pine and available with counter balance or countermarch. The 27" weaving width comes with 4 harnesses & 6 treadles or 8 Harnesses & 8 Treadles. The 40" weaving width is available with 4 harnesses and 6 treadles, 6H & 6T, or 8H & 8T. The maximum height of the loom is 62"
2 lease sticks, shaft holders, 24 warp sticks, bench, heddles, tie up kit and assembly instructions.

GLIMAKRA STANDARD LOOMS\
STANDARD is a well constructed, sturdy loom that you can use for all types of weaving. It is designed with open side frame allowing you easy access for threading and tie-up. The ratchets for both the warp and cloth beams are conveniently mounted on the outside of the loom so that you can utilize the entire weaving width. It is crafted of pine, all holes are predrilled so that you can add accessories at any time. The Standard is available with counterbalance, or horizontal countermarch. (Vertical countermarch can be special ordered at additional cost.)
In the counterbalance tie up the harnesses are balanced against each other. Counterbalance is easy to tie up, easy to treadle, quiet and simple. The disadvantage is that it is limited to balanced tie ups. (An equal # of harnesses against each other) In the countermarch tie up the harnesses are raised or lowered independently of each other. The countermarch is quiet, provides easier treadling, an even shed and more consistent tension: an advantage for multi harness weaving, delicate warps, where tight tension is needed, etc. It does take longer to tie up and adjust. The Standard is available in widths of 48", 60", & 64" with 4 harnesses and 6 treadles up to 16 harnesses and 16 treadles. The maximum height with counterbalance is 70", with horizontal countermarch is 72", & with vertical countermarch is 78". Weight is 264 to 319 lbs.
Included with the loom are 4 rubber non-slip feet, 2 lease sticks, 48 warp sticks, shaft holders, mallet, bench, 1000 Texsolv heddles, tie up kit, and assembly instructions. Includes everything except the reed.
