SCHACHT TABLE LOOMS

Schacht Table Looms are crafted of the finest hard maple & designed to withstand heavy use. Many schools use Schacht Looms for just this reason.  Fine toothed nylon ratchets on both the warp and cloth beams allow precise tension control. Front mounted harness levers  are easy to see & easy to reach with either hand.  The action is smooth and quiet.  The looms are finely sanded & finished with Danish oil.  Looms come with your choice of reeds (6,8,10,12, or 15 dent), flat steel heddles, 2 apron rods, and 3 lease sticks.  (Minimal assembly required)

Available in 3 weaving widths  - 15", 20", & 25"

OPTIONAL SCHACHT FLOOR STAND -

Schacht's NEW   X Frame Floor Stand holds your Schacht Table Loom at the ideal height when you are sitting in a standard chair. Installation is simple - just fit the holes in the base of the loom onto pins in the stand. To remove, simply lift the loom off the stand. The Floor Stand will fit older model table looms by drilling holes in the bottom of the Table Loom using the drill guide provided.

15 3/4" model weighs only 20.5 lbs. and can be checked in at Baggage Counter.  The 9.5" model comes with 300 Inserted Eye Heddles and the 15.75" model comes with 400 Inserted Eye Heddles. Both looms have 8 Shafts with front levers, Stainless Steel Reed and custom made Bag with pouch for tools as well as a specially designed 1" profile Cherry Shuttle, Reed and Heddle Hook, 2 Lease Sticks, 2 Beam Sticks, the newly designed Warp and Cloth Roll Lashing system, 2 Screwdrivers, transfer Heddle Bars and the book "Warp & Weave" by Robert LeClerc. Folds flat for travel and 9 1/5" and 15 3/4" come with carry bag. LOUET KOMBO LOOM - 16" or 28"

The Louet Kombo is a convertable loom, start with the Rigid Heddle, add the High Castle and you have a 4 Harness Loom,   4 extra Harnesses can be added at any time to convert to an   8 Harness Loom.   You can also start with a 4 Harness Loom. A Floor Stand is available for the 28" loom as are Treadle Kits for 4 or 8 Harnesses. (The 16" Loom uses the Klik Stand and no Treadles are available)

Louet's Rigid Heddle comes with Lease sticks, 2 Stick Shuttles, and instructions. Made of lacquered beech and comes unassembled.                                                                      16" weighs 12 lb.,  28" weighs 16 lb.

The Kombo Conversion Kit converts the Rigid Heddle to a Table Loom. It consists of Castle, 4 Harnesses, 200 Texsolv Heddles, Beater and  10 dent Stainless Steel Reed.

The Kombo  Table Loom heights are a comfortable 5" above the table top. The loom can be folded to a compact 34" x 31" x 7.5" with the warp on or off.  The 4 Harness Table Looms come  complete with 200 Texsolv Heddles for the 16" model and 400 Texsolv Heddles for the 28" model.   Both come with a 10 dent Stainless Steel Reed, built in Raddle, 2 Stick Shuttles, 16 Warp Sticks, Tools and Instructions.  Unassembled.           16" weighs 26 lb., and 28"weighs 38 lb.

Dundas Table Looms are multi-harness looms, designed with both the beginning and expert weaver in mind. Finely crafted from eastern maple, our table looms are fully collapsible. This compactness allows for easy transport to workshops and classes. Our looms come fully equipped with a choice of either flat metal or Texsolv nylon string heddles.

  Table Looms are:

• available in 18" or 25" weaving widths
• available in four, eight and 12 and 16 harnesses
